Chevy Colorado

The Chevy Colorado was first introduced in 2003 and was in production through 2012 before taking a brief hiatus and returning in 2014 as the truck it has become today. For its first generation, the Colorado was a compact pickup, but when it made its return it was as a midsize pickup truck. This continued into its third and current generation, which kicked off for the 2024 model year.

Chevy Silverado 1500

One of the most iconic pickup trucks ever built, the Chevy Silverado 1500 has built an incredible reputation for itself since joining the lineup for the 1999 model year. Its fourth and current generation kicked off in 2019, but engineers continue to build on and improve it each and every year. It is and has always been a full-size, light-duty pickup truck.

Chevy Silverado EV

One of the newest vehicles on the Chevy lineup, the Silverado EV made its debut for the 2024 model year alongside the updated Colorado. While the vehicle shares much with its namesake, including its overall aesthetic and much of its content, what makes them run is quite different. As you might’ve guessed, the Silverado EV is a battery electric vehicle as well as a full-size, light-duty pickup truck.

Chevy Silverado HD

The final member of the Silverado family, or rather members, are the HD models. The Silverado 2500HD and Silverado 3500HD have been around for many years as well. The Silverado HD was added to the lineup in 2001 and has evolved through the years since, ultimately becoming the incredible machines available today. Each are full-size, heavy-duty pickup trucks with increasing capabilities.

Which used Chevy trucks are available at Jim Glover Chevrolet?

Naturally, any of the aforementioned pickup trucks could be available in our used vehicle inventory. In fact, a majority of the pre-owned models we have available at a given time will be those models, perhaps even all of them. But there are a few other trucks that the company used to make that could potentially still show up. We’re not going to go back through every single vehicle the company has made through its 10+ decades of history, but both the Chevy Avalanche and Chevy Silverado Hybrid were discontinued relatively recently so we’d be remiss not to mention them.

Chevy Avalanche Exterior Passenger Side Front Profile

The Chevy Avalanche was a very unique pickup truck combining aspects of both the Silverado and the iconic Suburban SUV. What made it unique was the fact that its bed was integrated right into the cab, allowing for a midgate that could extend the bed length into the cab of the truck. The Silverado Hybrid was, of course, a hybrid version of the Chevy Silverado. While its first run was from 2005 to 2007, its second ran from 2009 to 2013.

If you’re interested in learning more about a specific Chevy pickup truck, or about the lineup in general, don’t hesitate to give us a call right here at the Jim Glover Chevrolet sales desk. We look forward to hearing from you!
