Unapologetically Patriotic – Something that Means so Much More to the Jim Glover Auto Family.

Having served in both World War II and the Korean War, Captain Jess Glover put our nation first and fought for our freedom. Jess is the father of Jim Glover and during combat he had a severe leg injury which ultimately led to amputation. Jess passed away when Jim was only 19 years old. “My dad had an injury while serving and passed when I was a young man. To see what the Folds of Honor does for the men and women of the armed forces is incredible. I potentially would have qualified for an honor recipient. So, if you think about the full circle of that, that is exactly what Folds is after,” says Jim Glover.

What started above the garage of Colonel Dan Rooney’s home in 2007, Folds of Honor has become the beacon of hope to survivors of fallen or disabled military families by providing $5000 educational scholarships. To be able to meet this unthinkable sacrifice with the hope of an education…. it’s a life changer! And now, Folds is expanding their mission to include first responders.

First responders are deployed every six seconds answering 911 calls. They’re the ones running into danger, while others are running away. And unfortunately, they're a group that no one is supporting out there. There's no organization in this country giving educational support to the hundreds killed and the thousands wounded as first responders, every year. So, in 2024, Folds decided to support first responders but also are committed to creating awareness to elevate their heroic stature in our communities.  
As Jim Glover Auto Family approaches our 13th year as a partner. There’s no better time and it seems fitting that we turn our mission to ALWAYS ON! A portion of every vehicle, every day, 365 will be donated to the Folds of Honor. In addition, our insignia will now include the folded flag so customers alike can know they’re part of something bigger.
