While we have several different departments here at Jim Glover Chevrolet, or bread and butter is obviously selling new Chevrolet vehicles. The Chevy lineup is diverse and packed full of great vehicles, including a rich selection of sport utility vehicles in many different sizes and styles. If you’re in the market for a new SUV in Tulsa, Oklahoma, or the surrounding area, be sure to check out the selection of new Chevy SUVs we have for sale right here at our dealership. You can read on for a brief overview of each model below, and feel free to give us a call with any questions that you might have.
The Chevy Blazer is a midsize crossover that joined the lineup for the 2019 model year. It’s not the first time the Blazer nameplate has been used, but it is successfully building off that legacy. This year the Blazer adds a new exterior color option in the form of Habanero Orange, and the Redline Edition is now available with the Iridescent Pearl Tricoat exterior color option.
Just last year the Blazer was expanded to offer an all-electric variant. The Chevy Blazer EV offers all the great features and amenities that fans of the midsize crossover have come to expect, with the added benefit of that all-electric powertrain. Depending on the trim level and battery pack you opt for, you could have 283 or 334 miles of electric driving range!
While it was larger when it was introduced back in 2005, these days the Chevy Equinox is a compact crossover just kicking off its fifth generation for the 2025 model year. There are far too many improvements and updates to squeeze into this little paragraph, just know that it’s packed full of more technologies and content than ever before, plus offers more capability that its predecessors.
In addition to the Blazer EV last year, Chevy also introduced the Equinox EV. Although the regular Equinox was redesigned this year, the Equinox EV remains largely the same as its inaugural model, though it also adds the Habanero Orange exterior color option this year. You’ll be able to choose between FWD models, which offer 319 miles of electric range, or AWD with 285 miles.
One of the oldest and most recognizable vehicles on the Chevy lineup, the Suburban dates all the way back to 1934. This full-size traditional SUV offers more interior space than any other vehicle on the lineup, both for cargo and your passengers. This year the Suburban has received a significant redesign thanks to a mid-generation refresh, with plenty of enhanced design cues and other features.
Though it hasn’t been around nearly as long, the Chevy Tahoe goes hand in hand with the Suburban. It was first introduced in 1994 and is slightly smaller than its big sibling. It’s still a full-size SUV, but its wheelbase isn’t quite as long, offering an option for those drivers who want more space than modern crossovers offer, but don’t want a vehicle quite as large as the Suburban.
Much like the Blazer, Trailblazer is a nameplate that already has a storied history being used on a different model, but was resurrected for the 2021 model year in the form of a subcompact crossover. You have two different powertrains to choose from and plenty of feature content despite its size, and this year a new Marina Blue Metallic exterior color option has been added.
While the Tahoe and Suburban are larger, the Chevy Traverse is the biggest crossover on the lineup. The full-size Traverse was first introduced for the 2009 model year and just last year entered its third generation for 2024. Even still, some exciting updates came this year in the form of a new High Country trim level as well as a Sun and Wheel Package, plus the Trailering Package is now standard on the LT trim.
From the biggest to the smallest, the Chevy Trax is a subcompact crossover and the entry-level vehicle on the Chevy SUV lineup. It joined the lineup for the 2015 model year and just kicked off its second generation last year in 2024, so this year only a couple of next exterior color options have been added to the palette in the form of Cypress Gray and Marina Blue Metallic.
