While the Isuzu brand hasn’t produced mainstream consumer automobiles for many years, you might remember some of the brand’s old icons like the Rodeo and Trooper. Though they no longer produce vehicles like these, the Isuzu brand is still alive and well here in America, thanks to its incredible selection of commercial trucks. Here at Jim Glover Chevrolet, we have a large fleet & commercial business in addition to our sale of new Chevy vehicles to everyday consumers. If your company is in need of a solid chassis cab truck, or a fleet of them, we have plenty of options available here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We thought we’d highlight all of the different kinds of Isuzu commercial trucks we provide, with a brief glimpse into what’s possible with each.
The most basic commercial truck available from the Isuzu brand is the NPR. This class-three vehicle offers a gross combined weight rating of 18,000 pounds and is available with either a standard cab or crew cab body style.
The heavy-duty version of the previous model, the NPR-HD is the next step up. Once again available in either standard or crew cab options, these two class-four trucks increase the gross combined weight rating up to 20,500 lbs. The NPR-HD is also available with diesel powertrains options.
While there aren’t currently any of these class-five trucks available in our inventory, we wanted to make sure to at least touch on them. The NQR is also available with either the standard or crew cab style, but it offers a GCWR of 23,950 lbs.
The NRR is a class-five vehicle like the NQR, though it’s slightly more capable. Whether you opt for its standard or crew cab style, you’ll have a GCWR of up to 25,500 lbs. at your disposal. At the time of this blog’s creation, we had a unique NRR model in stock: a standard cab model with a 20’ box truck already attached. The NRR is also available with diesel powertrain options.
This unique model is similar to the NPR-HD except that it’s exclusively offered with its diesel powertrain option. It’s also a class-four truck available in standard or crew cab options, but it offers a GCWR of up to 22,000 lbs.
While all of the aforementioned models are actually subsets of the N-Series model, we separated them as there are so many different variations. For the much larger, heavier duty F-Series trucks, we thought we’d combine them into one section as there are only two: the FTR and FVR. We didn’t have any FVR models in stock at the time of this blog’s creation, but there was an FTR in stock. The FTR is a class-six truck with a GCWR of up to 30,000 lbs., while the FVR is a class-seven with up to 33,000 lbs.
We typically have a wide variety of Isuzu commercial trucks available here at Jim Glover Chevrolet. You can always see which models we have available at a given time by checking out our online inventory right here on the website. You might see trucks labeled as having a “Regular Cab,” which is just another name for the standard cab that we’ve talked about in this blog.
If you think you might be interested in an Isuzu chassis cab for your commercial business, or perhaps even a whole fleet of them, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us right here at the sales desk. We look forward to hearing from you and taking care of your company’s automotive needs.
