Did you know that the Trailblazer nameplate was originally used as a trim level for the Blazer from 1998 to 2001? Then, in 2001, it broke off and became its own separate midsize traditional SUV that lasted until 2008. It wasn’t until 2021 that Chevrolet decided to dust off the popular old nameplate and reintroduce it as a subcompact crossover, and it has grown increasingly popular ever since. Now, we have the 2025 Chevy Trailblazer for sale right here at Jim Glover Chevrolet in Tulsa, Oklahoma. If you’re in the market for a vehicle in this segment, you should definitely consider a new Trailblazer of your own.
The Chevy Trailblazer is still very new, having just been introduced four model years ago. But on top of that, it just received a mid-generation refresh for the 2024 model year! In other words, the vehicle is still incredibly fresh and not much needed to change for 2025. The one and only update this year was the addition of a new exterior color option for you to choose from, which is Marina Blue Metallic.
Let’s dive into some of the things that make the 2025 Chevy Trailblazer such a great option within its segment. For starters, you’ll have two powertrain options to choose from, starting with the standard ECOTEC 1.2L turbocharged inline-three engine. This engine powers the LS and LT trims and can deliver 137 horsepower alongside 162 pound-feet of torque. If you’d like your Trailblazer to have a little more kick than that, you can upgrade to an ECOTEC 1.3L turbocharged I-3 engine capable of generating up to 155 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque by choosing the ACTIV or RS trim levels.
Another very important aspect of any crossover is how much space there is in the interior, both for passengers and for cargo. This can be especially important in smaller utility vehicles like this subcompact crossover, as you want to maximize the space within despite its small stature. The 2025 Trailblazer offers 98.2 cubic feet of space for you and your passengers to stretch out and get comfortable in, plus 25.3 cu. ft. behind the rear seats for whatever luggage, groceries or anything else you need to bring along with you. If you drop those rear seats flat it opens up even more space, more than doubling to 54.4 cu. ft.
There are also a ton of great features and technologies packed into the 2025 Trailblazer despite it being an entry-level SUV. For example, the Chevy Safety Assist package comes standard on every trim level and includes Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Following Distance Indicator, Forward Collision Alert and IntelliBeam automatic high beams.
There are four trim levels to choose from when shopping for your Trailblazer, including the sporty RS and the outdoorsy ACTIV. Check out the information below for a brief look at what’s available in each trim level. If you’d like to learn more about a specific trim level or would like to start the process of ordering a Trailblazer to your exact specifications, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us right here at Jim Glover Chevrolet!
