The Chevrolet lineup is packed full of icons, with a ton of vehicles that have been around for decades and decades. But even some of their younger vehicles have already had enough time to establish incredible legacies of their own. Take the Chevy Equinox, for example. The compact crossover has only been around since the 2005 model year, but with 20 years now under its belt it has quickly become one of the most popular vehicles in its segment. The 2025 Chevy Equinox is all-new as it enters its fourth generation and is currently available for sale right here at Jim Glover Chevrolet in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
“The 2025 Equinox brings to one of our most important nameplates bodylines and proportions inspired by our brand’s truck DNA, also adopted in the upcoming Traverse. It also builds on the core strengths that have earned Equinox tremendous customer loyalty over the past two decades, and made it the second-best seller in our lineup, after Silverado.”
– Scott Bell, Vice President, Chevrolet
As we just mentioned, the Chevy Equinox is all-new for the 2025 model year as it has been completely redesigned for its fourth generation. With that in mind, we won’t be able to pack everything that’s new this year into a single paragraph or two. But, we’ll cover as many of the exciting upgrades and enhancements as we can. For starters, the Equinox is now 2.5 inches wider than its predecessor, giving it a slightly different stance than it used to have. Its design has been further overhauled in multiple ways, including unique fascia treatments for each trim level, squared openings for the wheels and similar fender flares, a distinct C-pillar shark fin and much more.
There are plenty of additional upgrades and new features found within the vehicle as well, such as its new 11.3” infotainment screen, which is quite a bit larger than its predecessor. Another new feature this year is an electronic transmission range selector found on the steering column. Replacing traditional range selectors with something like this creates more space for storage, and helps further the tech-forward aesthetic of the cabin.
The ACTIV trim level is also new this year, which you can learn a bit more about below in the trim level breakdown. It’s the model’s first outdoor adventure-focused trim level, with off-road aesthetics and features. There are also some new safety features and technologies found in the vehicle, but let’s shift gears to focus on that.
Safety features, both traditional and the advanced, driver-assistive kind, are more important to drivers than ever before, so more and more continue to be improved and introduced year after year. This year the 2025 Chevy Equinox offers more standard safety features than ever before, including Chevy Safety Assist and a host of other independent technologies. Check out the following list for everything that comes standard:
There are three different trim levels from which to choose when shopping for a 2025 Chevy Equinox. You can check out a brief breakdown of each level in the following information:
