The Chevy Traverse is one of the younger vehicle’s on the brand’s lineup, but last year it had its 15th anniversary and celebrated by entering its third generation with a major redesign. We’ve been super pleased with the all-new, next-generation model, but now the 2025 Chevy Traverse is available right here at Jim Glover Chevrolet. So, fresh off a generational makeover, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if the automaker didn’t make too many new changes this year. But that’s not what happened, so today we’re here to dive into what’s new this year!
In addition to a couple smaller adjustments, the biggest change for the new 2025 model year was the introduction of a High Country trim level. While the Traverse had this prestigious Chevy trim level in previous generations, it wasn’t available in the inaugural model year for the third generation. That changes this year as Chevy has added it to the selection. If you’re a fan of the Chevy brand you’ll know that High Country is the premium trim level for many vehicles on the lineup, so we’re certainly pleased that this trim is now available in the 2025 Chevy Traverse.
The High Country trim level is built onto the LT trim much like the RS is. In addition to everything that comes with the LT trim, there are many additional features and enhancements that come standard in the High Country trim. Here are some of the things that you’ll have in your vehicle if you opt for a 2025 Chevy Traverse High Country:
In addition, the High Country trim level comes standard with the Convenience Package, the Driver Confidence Package and even the Enhanced Driving Package, the latter of which includes the incredible Super Cruise feature. When purchasing a Traverse High Country, you can choose between either front- or all-wheel drive.
The additional updates will seem a bit lackluster in comparison to the new High Country trim level, but we wanted to make sure we mentioned them at the very least. The Trailering Package now comes standard on the LT trim level, which is actually very exciting. Finally, a brand-new package has been added to those available on certain trim levels. This newly available package, called the Sun and Wheel Package, includes a panoramic power sunroof and a set of 20” metallic machined-face aluminum wheels wrapped in all-season blackwall tires.
While that does it for everything that’s new in the 2025 Chevy Traverse, we wanted to take a quick moment to remind you of some of the technical specs that make the vehicle such a great option in the full-size crossover segment. The following table includes some of the most important things to consider when shopping for such a vehicle.
