Back for the 2009 model year, Chevrolet introduced us to the new flagship vehicle of its crossover collection. The Chevy Traverse is a full-size crossover, and last year for its 15th anniversary it entered its third generation. You’d probably think, in that case, that the 2025 Chevy Traverse is going to be the same this year as it was last year. While not much needed to change for its sophomore year in this generation, Chevy did decide to make a few adjustments, so we’ll be sure to cover them today. If you’re in the market for a full-size crossover, we typically have plenty of Traverse models for sale right here at Jim Glover Chevy in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
As we mentioned, they didn’t need to make too many changes this year as the Traverse just went through a generational shift for the 2024 model year. One thing that they did change this year is that the Trailering Package is now standard on the LT trim level. They’ve also introduced a new Sun and Wheel Package that you can opt for on some trim levels. Most excitingly and the biggest surprise, however, is that they introduced a completely new trim level this year, adding High Country to the list of options in which the Chevy Traverse is available. The new Traverse High Country trim, which is available in either front- or all-wheel drive, includes the following features and design cues:
The 2025 Chevy Equinox is only available with one powertrain option, but it offers a very impressive blend of power and efficiency such that it should be a good fit for any type of driver interested in such a vehicle. Beneath the hood of every model is a 2.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine with stop/start technology. It’s capable of generating up to 328 horsepower alongside 326 pound-feet of torque, while still achieving 20 miles per gallon through the city and 27 mpg on the highway for a combined fuel economy rating of 23 mpg when equipped with FWD. If you opt for AWD that efficiency comes down a bit to 19/24/21 mpg.
In addition to the aforementioned High Country, there are four trim levels in which the Equinox is available. We already covered the new High Country trim level in detail so it isn’t included, but you can check out the following information for a brief overview of each trim. If you have any questions about the 2025 Chevy Equinox, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us right here at Jim Glover Chevrolet.
