What’s new in the 2026 Chevy Trailblazer?
Having just received a facelift and new features for the 2024 model year, the Trailblazer didn’t need many updates for 2026. The main upgrade comes in terms of functional standard equipment, as the cargo area now includes a tire inflator kit on all trim levels. This reduces the overall vehicle weight and maximized storage, while a compact spare tire still remains an available option.
In addition to this upgrade, Chevrolet has shuffled the exterior color options for the Trailblazer by removing two previous choices and replacing them with a pair of stunning new paint jobs. The new colors are Apex Red and White Sands, replacing Crimson Metallic and Nitro Yellow Metallic. They join other favorites like Cacti Green and Marina Blue, plus the exciting two-tone roof options available on certain trim levels.
Turbocharged Performance & Capability
There are two different powertrain options to choose from when shopping for a 2026 Trailblazer. They’re both very similar, but one offers superior performance and a sportier feel.

Available Trim Levels
In addition to choosing between the two powertrains, you’ll be able to choose from four different available trim levels. Which is the right choice for you will depend on both your budget as well as your lifestyle.
- LS – The value-packed entry point features 17” silver-painted aluminum wheels, an HD Rear Vision Camera, a fold-flat front passenger seat, and the standard 11” infotainment/8” Driver Information display screen setup.
- LT – Adds everyday conveniences including Keyless Open and Start, a remote starter, silver-painted roof rails, deep-tinted rear windows & liftgate glass, and 17” High Gloss Black machined-aluminum wheels.
- ACTIV – Built for adventurous lifestyles, ACTIV features off-road suspension tuning, a functional front skid plate, dual-outlet exhaust, and comes standard with the 1.3L Turbo engine.
- RS – Delivers a head-turning sporty look with 19” High Gloss Black wheels, red interior stitching and other accents, RS badging, and a flat-bottom heated steering wheel. It also comes standard with the 1.3L Turbo.
