It might be hard to believe, but it’s already been a decade since the Chevy Trax was first introduced to the automotive market. It didn’t go on sale until the 2025 model year, so the vehicle itself isn’t quite 10 years old yet, but we’re getting mighty close. Even still, Chevrolet decided to elevate the Trax by completely redesigning it and bringing it forward into its second generation for the 2024 model year. In other words, this year the 2024 Chevrolet Trax is an all-new subcompact crossover available to shoppers here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. If you’re shopping for a vehicle in that segment, you should definitely consider the Trax, but we’ll dive into some of what’s new and what makes it such a great option to show you exactly why we think so.
“The all-new Trax has everything you need and nothing you don’t. More space. More features. More style. This is an entry-level vehicle that will surprise and delight customers with its value and plays a critical role as the gateway into the Chevy brand.”
– Scott Bell, Vice President, Chevrolet
