It might be hard to believe, but the Chevy Tahoe has officially been around for more than 30 years as it made its official debut all the way back for the 1995 model year. With three decades of experience under its belt, it has without a doubt cemented its legacy as one of the best options in the traditional full-size SUV segment. While the Tahoe’s fifth generation just recently kicked off in 2021, this year the SUV receives a mid-generation facelift to present updated design cues and more. We’re stoked to be able to provide the 2025 Chevy Tahoe for sale right here at Jim Glover Chevrolet in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
“The updates on the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban make the industry’s best-selling full-size SUVs an ever-stronger option for our customers. Our segment-leading position is the envy of our competitors — no one comes close to Chevrolet.”
– Scott Bell, Vice President, Chevrolet
Although not a true generational redesign, the Tahoe has received a pretty significant refresh this year with updated design cues and some new technological updates. For example, the signature lighting found on the vehicle’s exterior is bolder than on its predecessor and even includes all-new lighting animations on approach. On the inside, the biggest update is the new best-in-segment 17.7” display audio screen, which is very exciting.
While these are just two of the biggest examples, there are plenty of other enhancements and improvements, so be sure to give us a call if you’d like to learn even more about what’s new. But there is one more big update this year that we’ll touch on, which is the availability of the updated second-generation 3.0L turbo-diesel Duramax engine, capable of generating up to 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque, which is an increase of 10- and 7.6-percent, respectively, over the current version of Duramax.
While most people might go straight to pickup trucks for their hauling and towing needs, the 2025 Chevy Tahoe makes a great option for those who have just as much need for people-moving as trailering. While you’ll give up some maximum capacity this way, the Tahoe is a fantastic option for those whose towing needs won’t exceed 8,400 pounds. This is due in large part to the many features and technologies found in the vehicle specifically designed to enhance the trailering experience, particularly with the Max Trailering package.
The Max Trailering Package includes Hitch View, Hill Descent Control, Blind Zone Steering Assist with Trailering, an integrated trailer brake controller and, on some trim levels, even a high-capacity radiator and cooling fan. The Chevrolet Trailering App is also included in the package, which this year will also include Load Rating Info. Some other new features found in the Tahoe this year include Trailer Tire Health, Forward Path Indication, Boat Ramp Assist and Trailer Navigation.
With six different trim levels to choose from, you have plenty of options to make sure you get the exact 2025 Chevy Tahoe to suit your needs. You can learn some brief details about each trim level in the following sections.
